OpenRASE is an emulator for performing Service Function Chain (SFC) experiments, sepcifically focusing on resource allocation to SFCs. The emulator is written in Python and uses Mininet and Docker containers to emulate computer networks. As of now, to the best of my knowledge, this is the only SFC emulator. In contrast to the simulators avilable, OpenRASE offers higher fidelity and in contrast to the testbeds, it provides more scalability and flexibility.
